Our Methodologies

Methodology

At Maplelawn ChildCare, we proudly use the Frog Street Curriculum to guide our early learning programs. This comprehensive, research-based approach is designed to support children’s growth in every area: social, emotional, physical and cognitive. With engaging, age-appropriate activities, Frog Street helps children build strong foundations in literacy, math, and problem-solving while encouraging creativity and curiosity. By combining intentional instruction with joyful play, we ensure that each child is both challenged and inspired as they learn and grow.

What Parents Say

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do you select the right preschool for your child?

A: Maplelawn Childcare welcomes any family looking for a preschool for their child/children. We offer daily tours to the families.

If you like to tour our preschool in-person pls Schedule a Tour from our website.

Q: Tell us a little bit about the in-person school tour?e throughout the day?

A: We prioritize understanding the specific needs of each parent. This insight allows us to tailor our school tours to highlight the most relevant aspects of our program. During the tour, we dedicate ample time to explaining our daily routine and educational process. Parents have the opportunity to meet our experienced staff, interact with teachers, and closely examine our classrooms. By showcasing our methodology, materials, and overall classroom environment, we aim to provide parents with a comprehensive understanding of our school and how it can best support their child’s development.

Q:How will I be informed of my child’s progress?

A: Maplelawn Childcare uses a mobile application for communications, it is simple and literally acts as a text message to the teacher or vice versa to know more about the child.

We also encourage the traditional method of setting up a time to meet with the teacher before or after teaching hours. If you have concerns or just want to know about what your child is doing in the classroom, don’t hesitate to set up an appointment.

Maplelawn Childcare offers parent-teacher conference twice a year, one in January and the second at the end of the year. That would be the best time to find out all about the child’s growth and progress.

Q: What is the Teacher Student Ratio?

A: We keep our class sizes small to give each child lots of attention. Here’s how many children are in each classroom:

  • Infants (6 weeks – 24 months): 1 teacher for every 3 infants.
  • Toddlers (2  –  3 years): 1 teacher for every 6 students.
  • Preschoolers (3 – 6 years): 1 teacher for every 10 preschoolers.
